This is a photograph showing the Soviet cruise missile in its air-launched configuration. It could be used as a reference for the CIA to discuss and make decisions.
This photograph sheds light on my research project because it reveals the importance of looking closely at rivals while thinking about ways to solve the Crisis. It also reveals how careful and detail-minded the CIA has to be when it comes to important international moments.
